Description
House Edge is a tycoon simulator where the player runs a casino and balances rigging machines while avoiding attracting suspicion. It was developed during the 2024 RGDC Spring Game Jam in a span of 48 hours with a team of five. My contributions to the game included art implementation and helping program systems such as the shop and menus.
Process & Challenges
As the project was created in under 48 hours, not much time could be spent on planning. There were some challenges on deciding how the gameplay should work due to group indecision, as well as difficulty balancing the gameplay to be fun due to the amount of numbers involved.
