Description

Depths of Nowhere is a top-down, arcade-style shooter inspired by the game Asteroids. It was created in a team of five for the 2024 RGDC Halloween Game Jam in under 48 hours. My primary role for the project was to help program various gameplay systems.

Process & Challenges

This project was created in a team of which I had worked with before. Because of this, the planning for underlying game architecture went smoothly. However, we ultimately struggled with brainstorming ideas and handling repository merge conflicts, which resulted in cutting close to the deadline.
